Beauty in the Everyday











The photographer William Eggleston could lay claim to be the first true master of colour photography. Before Eggleston, photographers usually created beautiful images in controlled environments where everything could be planned, Eggleston found his beauty all around him, at a hotdog stand, a road intersection, a coke machine. His was truly a trained eye and a pioneering spirit. Using inexpensive equipment he showed how beauty is within all our reach, if first we learn to see.
